Onwentsia Club, steeped in tradition, has been home to some of the first families of Chicago since 1895.  In this exclusive country club atmosphere, members have access to amenities such as golf, racquets, and of course, fine dining.  Unique to the industry, Onwentsia has, at peak season, 15 available settings throughout the club and grounds where members may dine (with advance notice).  In the clubhouse, fine dining is king.  This is where interns will learn and refine the fundamental skills in a la carte dining as well as banquet service.  At Onwentsia's outdoor dining unit, the Wigwam, interns may also have the opportunity to work in a country club casual setting.  Interns are also exposed to the network of club management professionals by partaking in the Greater Chicago Club Managers Association, and have the opportunity for scholarships within the GCCMA.  If food and beverage operation is your passion, or you are curious about the fascinating private club industry, please inquire about the Onwentsia Club at the MIHEA Career Fair.
